欢迎会员朋友们关注、参与
欧洲汉语教学协会(EACT)在欧洲的不同国家每两年举办一届国际研讨会,旨在加强欧洲全球学者之间的学术交流,共同探讨所关心的学术和学科问题,以促进汉语二语教学学科建设和发展。第一届研讨会于2017年在布达佩斯举行,第二届研讨会于2019年在都柏林举行。第三届研讨会将于2021年7月2日至3日在葡萄牙布拉加的米尼奥大学举行。
本届国际研讨会由欧洲汉语教学协会和葡萄牙米尼奥大学主办,世界汉语教学学会、世界汉语教育史研究会和澳门圣约翰大学合办,米尼奥大学孔子学院、科英布拉大学孔子学院协办。研讨会的主题为“欧洲视角之汉语二语教学学科的前世、今生和未来发展”,是继上届都柏林“汉语二语教学学科建设的区域性和国际性”研讨会之后,从历史发展的角度进一步探讨欧洲和世界各地汉语二语教学实践和理论的发展及对汉语二语教学学科建设的影响和启迪,探索今后如何将学科建设得更加适应时代的需求。
本届研讨会将在具有悠久传教士汉语教学传统的欧盟国家葡萄牙举办,研讨会希望能借此深入挖掘欧洲及世界其他国家的汉语二语教学传统和发展,通过回顾和研究早期的汉语教学法、教材和语言教育观,探讨其对近、现代与当代汉语二语教学学科体系之影响,对当今全球多元化环境中的汉语二语教学学科建设与实践进行反思与建言,分享学术视角、交流学术成果。
研讨会将设学术委员会,对提交的论文提要进行匿名评审,入选论文将在相关的论坛宣读(每个学术报告为20分钟,含问答时间)。

本届研讨会将根据疫情状况预备两套方案:方案一:现场与线上视频混合模式方案二:线上网络视频研讨会;研讨会组委将在2021年5月上旬发出相关通知。论文摘要提交要求
1.用MS Word文档,分两页:第一页写清摘要的议题和题目、2-3个关键词、作者姓名、工作单位以及联系方式(含电子邮箱)。第二页为摘要正文(含题目),中文字数在300字左右,英文400词左右(A4纸一页以内),中、英文均可,但请不要写作者姓名。2.每人作为独立作者或第一作者只可提交一篇论文摘要,同时还可作为非第一作者合作提交另一篇摘要。3.请以电子邮件的附件发至[email protected],本届研讨会不接受其它方式的投稿,敬请谅解。4.会议注册可登录会议网站http://cehum.ilch.uminho.pt/etac,付费功能将于近期在网站上开通。研讨会重要日期

研讨会注册费分两类,即非会员和会员两类。非会员现场参会注册费为100欧元,远程参会注册费为70欧元。欧洲汉语教学协会会员两种参会模式的注册费均为25欧元。世界汉语教学学会会员可享受欧汉会会员同等注册优惠。注册费包括会议材料、远程会议技术支持和茶歇。其它费用自理。研讨会筹委秘书处

The European Association for Chinese Teaching(EACT) organizes an international symposium every two years in different countries in Europe,aiming to strengthen academic exchanges among practitioners and scholars in Europe and all around the world,to jointly discuss academic and disciplinary issues of concern,and to promote the development of Teaching Chinese as Second language as an academic discipline.The first symposium was held in Budapest,Hungary in 2017,and the second in Dublin,Ireland in 2019.The third symposium will be held at the University of Minho in Braga,Portugal between 2 and 3 July 2021.
The 3rd International Symposium is jointly organized by the European Association of Chinese Teaching and the University of Minho which also hosts the symposium.The partners include the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching,World Scholarly Association for the History of Chinese Language Teaching based at Beijing Foreign Studies University,and St.John’s University in Macau,with assistance from the Confucius Institutes at the University of Minho and University of Coimbra.The theme of the symposium is"The Past,Present and Future Development of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from the European Perspective".It is the continuation of the last symposium"Pushing Forward the Discipline of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language-European Efforts in the World Context".It further explores the development of practices and theories of Chinese second language teaching and learning in Europe and around the world from the historical perspective,and how this has influenced the development of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language as an academic discipline,and how the discipline can better meet the needs of the times and the future.
This symposium will be held in Portugal,an EU country with a long tradition of Chinese teaching by and for missionaries.The symposium aims to dig deeper into the traditions and development of teaching Chinese as a second language in Europe and other countries in the world,to review and research on early Chinese teaching methods,textbooks and their language teaching concepts,to explore its impact on the modern and contemporary Chinese second language teaching discipline,to reflect and make suggestions on the development of both theories and practices of Chinese second language teaching in today's globally diversified environment,and to share academic perspectives and research outcomes.
The symposium will set up a scientific committee to conduct anonymous review of submitted abstracts,and the author of the accepted abstract will present the paper in the relevant panel (each presentation is 20 minutes,including question and answer time)at the symposium.

2 and 3 July 2021,Braga Campus,University of Minho(Braga,Gualtar,University of Minho,50 mts’Getbus from Porto Airpot,3hrs 25 mts’train from Lisbon).Presentation and paperscan be presented either in Chinese or English.
THE MAIN FIELDS OF THE SYMPOSIUM include
1.History,tradition and development of Chinese teaching in European countries
2.The influence of European missionaries'views and teaching methods on Chinese teaching
3.Research on the history of Chinese second language teaching materials in Europe andthe world from a cross/inter-cultural perspective
4.The role of learning motivation and cultural identity in teaching of Chinese as a second language in Europe and other parts of the world
5.Comparative study of the documents and the lives of early European missionaries and sinologists and their influences on Chinese teaching
6.Exchanges and mutual influence of academic research on teaching Chinese as a second language between Europe and modern China
7.Research on the development and discipline construction of teaching Chinese as a second language in countries and regions outside Europe.
8.Special session on topics related to the Portuguese missionary sinologist Joaquim Gonçalves as well as the role of Ming-Qing missionary collages in Macau in Chinese teaching(organized by GELA-CEHUM).
SYMPOSIUM AND ITS RESERVE PLAN
Due to the current pandemic situation,the symposium has made alternative plans,and decision will be made in line with how the epidemic situation develops.
Plan A:on-site face to face symposium+live transmission for general sessions and video conference for separate sessions
Plan B:online symposium with webinars;
The Symposium Organizing Committee will send confirmation notice on decision in early May 2021.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND REQUIREMENTS
1.A MS Word document consists of two pages,with the first page including the field and title of the abstract,2 to 3 keywords,the author's name,institution and contact information(including email),and the second page for the actual abstract with the title.The abstract should be about 300 characters if in Chinese,or around 400 words if in English(within one A4 page),but abstract page should not include the name of the author.
2.Each person can submit only one abstract as an independent author,and another one as a co-author.
3.Abstract should be sent as an email attachment to [email protected] means of abstract submission is NOT accepted.
4.Online registration can be made in the site:http://cehum.ilch.uminho.pt/etac,where a link for registration fee payment will be available soon.

CONFERENCE FEE
The registration fee is 100 Euros for on-site participation,70 Euros for distant participation,and 25 Euros for EACT members for both conference modes.The registration fee includes conference materials/technical supports and coffee breaks.Participants are responsible for all other expenses.
